ICUMSA 45 Sugar Trade Finance Advisory | Financely
Structured Trade and Commodity Finance

ICUMSA 45 Sugar Trade Finance

We structure and place trade finance for importers, distributors and traders of refined white sugar, turning a real sugar flow into a credit file lenders can underwrite.

Request an Estimate

Most sugar financing requests never reach a credit committee. The trade may be genuine, but the file does not show who the seller is, how the cargo is priced, how collateral is controlled or how the lender gets repaid.

Our structured trade and commodity finance advisory fixes that before any lender is approached, then takes the file to banks, trade finance funds and commodity lenders with appetite for your corridor.

Facilities we arrange

Import LC lines Transactional and back-to-back LC facilities for repeat purchases from Brazilian, Indian, Thai or Gulf refiners.
Borrowing base facilities Revolving lines secured on sugar inventory and receivables, with eligibility and reporting built for a distribution book.
Inventory and warehouse finance Financing against bagged sugar in third-party warehouses under collateral management.
Receivables and pre-export finance For exporters and refiners with contracted offtakers and verifiable shipping history.

Frequently asked questions

Does Financely lend money or issue letters of credit?

No. Financely is an advisory and arranging firm. Lenders provide the facility and issue any letters of credit.

Can you finance a single spot cargo?

Lenders prefer recurring, documented flows. A spot cargo can work when the seller, buyer and logistics are verifiable and the client has a credible balance sheet.

Why is there no success fee?

The retainer covers the advisory work. Any compensation at closing is paid by the lender, not by you.

General information only, not legal, tax or investment advice or an offer of finance. Financely is an independent advisory and arranging firm, not a bank, lender or broker-dealer. Independent Capital Advisory

About Financely

Financely is an independent capital adviser focused on trade finance, project finance, commercial real estate and M&A funding. We structure, underwrite and place transactions through regulated partners across banks, funds and insurers.

Our work is transaction-specific. We assess the underlying financing requirement, commercial structure, repayment mechanics, collateral, documentation and counterparty risks before preparing opportunities for lender or investor review.

In trade and commodity finance, this includes analysis of the underlying trade, payment mechanics, market evidence, collateral controls and compliance risks. Engagements are undertaken on a best-efforts basis and do not constitute a commitment to lend or invest. All transactions remain subject to KYC, AML, due diligence, credit approval and counterparty requirements.
